Home Depot coupons are a hard one to find.  What you’re going to find, when searching for one is that there really aren’t that many to find, when compared to their competitors such as Ace, Lowe’s, and more.  That shouldn’t stop you from searching for them though, because I wanted to show you some tips today on how you can find them.

• They accept competitors: A lot of people didn’t know this, but as long as the store is a competitor to Home Depot, they will accept the coupon.  What I have found is that since Home Depot is the only big lumber place in my area, I will take Lowe’s Ace, True Value, and more in there, and I never have a problem getting that money knocked off my purchase.  It’s worth a shot, and 99% of the time, as long as it’s a competitor up the road, they will accept it.
• Search on eBay: eBay is a gold mine for hardware coupons, and you don’t have to search just for Home Depot coupons.  What I have found is that by searching, I can usually snag a 10% off coupon rather easily, but there are times when I can grab a 20% off coupon.   These are fairly rare, but when the time comes, you will want to take advantage of this one for sure.
• Sign up for their credit card: If you sign up with their credit card, you will find that you get deals, and coupons here and there just for being a member.  This is a great way to save as well.  The cool thing about their credit card is that most of the time, you can save 10% off your first purchase, which makes it a big win-win for you.

Home Depot coupons can be found, but a majority of the time, they will have to be used in terms of the competitor’s coupons.  Try out these tips, and let’s see how much you can save!
